My passion is the expression of art via visual media, aiming to capture the full story within every image.
I am a proud graduate of the Santa Barbara City College School of Photography. During the past eight years, I have had the privilege to study and work with some of the finest artists, instructors, and technical experts in the film and photographic industries.
Being a fifteen-year resident of Tehachapi, California, I consider it my hometown and base of operations with extension to the Los Angeles area.
With gratitude, I highlight the following experiences:
Employed by Samy’s Camera as a rental associate, specializing in customer production support for camera systems, lighting and grip. Provided support on a weekly basis to customers as well known as the Los Angeles Chargers, Fox Racing, and Monster Energy.
Freelanced as a Lead Cinematographer for live stream band performances in the Los Angeles area.
Selected as the First Assistant Director of Photography for the Chapman film, “American Champion”. Filming alongside Director of Photography Peyton Walecka and Writer/Director Jimmy Alcorn.
Hired by Writer/Director Elijah Kimmel as Lead On-Set Photographer for the film, “The Kid” (2018).
Acted as The Villain in the film, “Someone’s Hero”, which premiered at Cannes Film Festival in France, May 2017.
Hired by the SBCC Photography Department Chair, Seantel Sanders, professors Jeffery Hatfield and David Kafer, all of whom were Brooks School of Photography graduates, to assist them in the role of student mentor and tutor for all SBCC photographic studios and labs.
Interned as a photojournalist for the Santa Barbara City College news publication, The Channels.
Hired by SBCC film acting professor, Matt Talbot, as the Acting and Filming Assistant. Provided student coaching and tutoring for the class, “Acting for the Camera”.
